Australia Day Antarctic Flight
You may have read of our recent exciting win after entering an Australia Day competition. To refresh your memory, (or to fill you in), we won two seats on the Australia Day Antarctic Flight down to the South Pole, thanks to CCIWA, Australia Day WA, 96FM and WAtoday! Here’s that winning photo entry in case you didn’t see it:
The photo was a team effort but we managed to sort out which two of us were to be Motive’s Mawson and Shackleton in the sky; well done Gary and Maria!
The Antarctica sightseeing flights are run by Antarctica Flights, in conjunction with Qantas, and depart from a number of Australia capital cities every year during the Australian summer. Gary and Maria were lucky enough to leave on the Australia Day departure from Perth for the 12 hour sightseeing flight.
Thankfully, Gary, a regular Motive Travel photo contributor, brought along his trusty camera on the day to be able to share the following amazing images with the office and with you. Hope you enjoy the photos as much as we did!
